Examples are psychoeducation, cognitive behavior therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, family therapy, social skills training, neurofeedback & nature exposure. Support groups are available for patients & families.

Yes: Although medications can be quite helpful, they are not for everyone, and many problems related to adhd don't respond to medications. There are a number of books for adolescents and young adults with adhd, so maybe start there. You need to identify how adhd is causing you problems and then look at solutions others have found. You're not alone. Check out chadd.Org.
