I'm not sure how to bring up the topic of add/adhd and medication for the condition. i was wondering if someone could give me some advice on doing so!

Be honest and open: I am not a ADD specialist but I am a neurologist who has had shares of my discussion with patient with ADD/ADHD. There are clinical criteria ones need to made in order to meet the diagnosis. just be honest with your physician and make sure it is the correct diagnosis. there are several options for the condition. honesty is the best policy
