Marrow reconversion: is not an abnormality in and of itself, but is a normal physiologic response of the marrow to a variety of hypoxic or anemic states. For example, smoking is a causative factor. So the underlying process causing the marrow reconversion needs to be determined and addressed. Talk to your doctor about it.
