Antibiotics: If you have swelling around the jaw with an ear infection - see a doctor asap... This is not common for a routine ear infection.

Time, abx, ice: Once the infection has cleared via use of antibiotics, ice, anti-inflammatory meds and follow up with your ent. , the swelling will resolve.
