Sometimes when i play my violin or open my jaw my left ear 'pops'. what can be the cause of that and how do i get rid of it?

Eustachian tube: The opening of your eustachian tube drains your inner ear into your nose. Certain positions of the jaw can open it allowing air to equalize. This is the "pop" you feel. If it's bothersome, i recommend nasal saline rinses and maybe an over the counter allergy pill such as zyrtec. Unless you have pain, hearing loss, or recurrent ear infections, you should be fine.

I often get pain in my left ear, it's not continuous but it keeps popping out. Talked to ear specialist and dentist both told me im okay. I do have hindrance in opening and closing my jaw, however, there is no pain in the jaw.
