Low white blood cell: Low white blood cell counts can be caused by many factors such as congenital /hereditary, drug related, autoimmune disorder, viral infection, certain vitamin deficiency, bone marrow insuficiency, blood cancer etc. Your doctor will look into your history carefully , examination, blood works to figure out why your white cell is low. My be your normal: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, unless there has been a recent change in your counts or you have new symptoms, it may be your normal.
