Unaware: A grand mal seizure is a generalized event invariably associated with loss of consciousness, and some post-ictal confusion. There may be no real warning that such a spell may be imminent. However, seems you have been stable for 14 years, and, if you have not been taking any medication all that time, it is unlikely that you will have another sz.
