?epilepsy: Your brief description sounds like a seizure, and really need to get this fully evaluated and treated. Whether seizure, fainting, or any other cause, episodes of loss of consciousness, are dangerous and life-threatening. The person absolutely should not drive, use power equipment, or do activities at heights. This needs immediate medical attention.
