Healing: As the incisions heal, they contract. What you are feeling is likely a normal part of the recovery process. If it persists, let your surgeon know.

Incisional Pain: It's not unusual to have pain at this point after surgery; this is probably muscular in nature, related to the small incisions thru the abdominal wall. Try decreasing your activity & see if Ibuprofen will help. If this worsens and/or becomes associated with fever or vomiting, please contact your surgeon.
