A member asked:

What is the best nappy/barrier cream for babies as my little one was prescribed even with fucidin but did not do the tricks, he screams in pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bad diaper rash?: Rashes are hard to describe in words, so for bad diaper rashes, visits to the doctor may be needed. Haven't heard of Fucidin (websites say it is an antibacterial cream; not in the U.S. Perhaps). For babies with bad diaper rashes, we know that not wearing a diaper will help. Zinc oxide creams help, but one must not rub the skin when trying to clean the butt. Anti-yeast creams may be added, etc...
