A member asked:

My lo has really bad nappy rash and sudocream not helping. i have got some fucidin cream prescibed for her face can i use this on her?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Fucidin is a topical antibiotc and if it can be used on the face it can be used in the nappy area. If the rash is bacterial then Fucidin will help. If it is yeast it will not. You can wash her nappy area with a dilute solution of baking soda and water (1 tsp baking soda in 1 cup water) and use an antifungal cream...Like micatin or tinactin (tolnaftate) for yeast.
