I have a uti & been on cipro (ciprofloxacin) (500mg twice daily) for 5 days (scriptfor 14). felt great yesterday but today some burning was back. is it unusual?

Somewhat: You may have a UTI due to a resistant organism, would thus suggest you have your urine tested again. Also have a specimen sent for culture with sensitivities to identify which antibiotics will be effective to eliminating the infection, if in fact you are infected again with a resistant organism.
