Urine test came back neg for uti. dr gave cipro (ciprofloxacin) 500 mg. 2x daily. i have symptoms. pill is way too big to swallow. can i cut it in halves or thirds?

Culture: Why take antibiotics if your urine culture was negative? Perhaps you have nonbacterial urethritis or interstitial cystitis. Ciprofloxacin tablets can usually be cut in half. See a urologist if symptoms persist.
