No: Although therapy can not heal a torn labrum, it may restore strength motion and provide enough pain relief that no further treatment may be needed. If it does not help that surgery may be recommended.

Depends: It really depends on how the labrum is torn. It can be torn from the bone, or torn to form a flap. Generally the flap doesn't heal but the one from bone can. If you didn't have a injury and it was diagnosed on an mri, it probably is not torn.
