Maybe: There are many reasons people have a hard time concentrating. Some people may just be uninterested. Other people may need to learn the material in multiple and more creative ways. One patient of mine sings her lessons to herself. Yet, it could be adhd especially if you cannot concentrate in other areas. You should have this checked w a visit to a psychiatrist or psychologist.

See your doctor: Concentration difficulty & problems with attention are symptoms common to many problems, including depression, anxiety, adhd, and mania/hypomania. Depending on the cause, treatment can be quite different. Complete evaluation by your doctor is needed to sort this out.

Not necessarily,but.: Any number of factors could interfere with school performance.Stress, illness, social and enviromental factors, poor sleep, hunger, eating too much, learning disabilities, auditorey and visual processing disorders, depression, anxiety, poor motivation and of course adhd.If problem is persistant, causing impairment please get an assessment.
