Hypermotility: Colitis is inflammation of your mucosa of your colon. There are different types of colitis. Some are very serious. But , in general any colitis may cause hyper-motility of your bowels, hence frequent bowel movements. To reduce your " uncontrollable bowel movement" you need your colitis treated.
