I am 8 weeks pregnant and have had a fever of 100 degrees the last 2 days. is there a risk to the fetus and anything i should do besides take tylenol (acetaminophen)?

Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for now: Sustained fever greater than 101 degrees between 5 and 11 weeks may be associated with a higher risk of neural tube defects (ntd). Since your temperature is only mildly elevated, try tylenol (acetaminophen) for now and increase your fluid intake. If you start to feel very ill or if the temperature elevation persists, contact your doctor.

Call ur OB doctor: They need to figure out where the infection is and treat it because it could affect your pregnancy.
