If someone had cancer would they lose weight or gain weight?

Depends: Usually neither. As cancer progresses, a majority of patients lose weight, but some cause tremendous hunger instead. Any cancer concern is best brought to your physician; much of our job centers around finding it and stopping it before it's too late.

Depends: Most cancers will tend to make you lose weight as they are catabolic--- however there are some tumors that can lead to weight gain by the shear size of the mass or sometimes the fact that they cause accumulation of fluid or aspires for example.
