All might: Cancer is an extremely broad term and cancers can affect any part of the body. Cancers are abnormal cells that do not stop growing and can be related to unexplained weight loss. But also there are many other non-cancer medical issues that can cause weight loss. Needs a complete history and physical exam with a doctor.
