Multiple causes : A range of causes including diseases such as lupus, medications, bone marrow failure, viral illness can cause low wbc. Needs repeat testing and f/u with your primary.

Agree with Dr. K: You had higher counts earlier then it is a cause for concern. African Americans normally have lower counts. You may watch and wati, however, if you get fever, see your doctor immediately.
