Good question: A WBC that is elevated represents that your body's responce to something. Most often it is an infection. Sometimes the infection does not have symproms. Sometimes your body is responding to non-infectious inflamations. This is why your physician did a good physical and history. That is why you continue testing. Of course it may be abnormal production/abnormal cells/ leukemia. Continue eval.
