A member asked:

I lost my baby in my 7th month of pregnancy. i had a follow up visit w/ my doc. he said that i did'ent need to have a pap. should i of had one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: If you have had regular paps before pregnancy and your physician does not think you needed one, then no. The new guidelines on pap smears are that they can be done every three years instead of every year.
