Probably not: Most people tend to have more anxiety, tremor and neevousness when they quit smoking. A number of patients complain of fatigue. Make sure other causes of fatigue have been ruled out before blaming quitting smoking.

Stimulant: Nicotine is a stimulant so when you cut back (congratulations-hope u can stop all together!) it would be common to feel more tired. This could continue for about 2-4 weeks. Try to be active, drink plenty of fluids and get enough rest. If your fatigue is accompanied by a persistently depressed mood please see you physician.
