See doc: Your options will depend on location of fibroid and your desire for possibility for children. The fibroid will only cause bleeding if it is located against the lining of the uterus. Options include treatments such as medication, hysteroscopic resection, ablation, or hysterectomy. See a gynecologist skilled in minimally invasive options to discuss what might be the best approach for you.

Depends on fertility: If you're done having children, options include hysterectomy, embolization, or even myomectomy. Otherwise, options include hormonal management, laparoscopic myomectomy, gnrh agonists (lupron), hysteroscopic myomectomy (if mucosal - in the uterine cavity), or expectant management. Talk to your gyn & see what's best for you. Take care.
