I'm having a pain in my upper back everytime i eat something. if it's something hot or cold i can feel the temp while it's going down. this is not normal for me. any ideas what might be wrong? this has been going on for 3-4 days now.

Doesn't sound normal: A primary care doctor can evaluate to see why such symptoms are occuring, and my refer to a G.I. Specialist to further check the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, etc... Sounds like the throat, esophagus, and stomach are extra sensitive lately. If there are other swallowing or throat symptoms, an ENT specialist might also evaluate.
