Any idea what would make your temp be a normal 97.7 in the morning get to maybe 99.1 mid day and be back down to 98 at night?

All temperatures mentioned are not considered elevated. Normal variations in temperature are within a degree or so of what is considered "normal" . Metabolism may increase/vary based on muscular activity/food intake, etc..

Yes. It is your circadian variation in temp. Esp if you exercise a lot during day and it is hot in MO. Best way to measure both temp accurately is to measure urine temp as it is at body temp when first voided. Use insulated cup and test urine temp immediately.
