A few things: Sleep on your side instead of your back. You may need a wedge pillow. You can also try those breathe right nose strips. Lose weight to a goal bmi of < 26.

Try these things: Sleep on your side (they sell night shirts with tennis balls on the back so stay on your side), avoid alcohol and sedatives prior to sleep, and lose weight. But if you snore loudly, you may have something called sleep apnea, which can be very detrimental to your health. Consider a sleep study to determine this.
