See physician: Snoring is a symptom of obstructive sleep apnea. You need to have a sleep study to see if it is just snoring. A dentist can then make an oral appliance to treat either the snoring or the sleep apnea. You will need a dentist who is trained in dental sleep medicine and a prescription from a physician.

Dr. Donley is right: As a dentist i treat both snoring and sleep apnea. We have different design mouth guards that are easily worn and for sleep apnea, are often more comfortable than a CPAP machine. Also great for CPAP users who travel and do not want to bring that device along. Snore guard, therasnore, silent nite, aveotsd work for snoring. Tap & moses appliance work for sleep apnea.
