Sleep lab: Go to a sleep lab for an evaluation. Usually found at hospitals. They will determine the level of sleep apnea -- if you have it at all. Often you will, if you are a snorer. From there, you can find a physician and / or dentist who treats these issues. Many times an oral appliance will help immensely. Sometimes surgery will help. Sometimes both. Start simply . You are not doomed to be a snorer.

Get it checked out!: Seek medical help to determine to cause of your snoring. Typically a collapse airway is involved and today, a simple overnight take home sleep test can provide all the information needed to determine if a potentially life threatening, life shortening condition of obstructive sleep apnea may be at play. Do it, it may save your life!

1st see physician: If the md rules out sleep apnea, then see a dentist who can make an easily worn mouth guard that advances the lower jaw, thereby opening up the throat space to reduce or eliminate snoring the results are typically better than surgical treatment and is non-invasive. Brands: therasnore, snoreguard, silent nite. Aveotsd attaches to tongue to reduce snoring. Often weight reduction helps.
