Possibly: Acute? Chronic? Recent repair? Nausea? Skin turning red? Previously pain free? Sounds like you need to be checked sooner rather than later.

Maybe: Tenderness and bloating at the site of an incisional hernia can indicate intermittent and partial blockage of the intestines. You shoul see a general surgeon for a consultation.

Depends. : If red, painful and angry looking could be infected. Fevers ? If not, and just bulging may be fluid (Seroma) and should get better. A recurrence is possible but less likely. Ask your surgeon when you see him/ her
