Possibly: Anxiety in general can increase muscle tension, including in the low back. Other frequent areas are the top, back, and sides of head, neck, and shoulders. Any of this can lead to pain. Best plan, though, is to see your physician about the panic attacks. These can be helped through psychotherapy -- and also medication, if needed. Treatment of anxiety may free you from both conditions.

Get med eval: for back pain and panic attacks. It may uncover underlying medical problems that need to be addressed. Cognitive Behavioral therapy can be effective. Psych meds may be indicated. Aim for daily exercise, 8 hrs sleep /night & good nutrition w 5 servings of veggies & 4 of fruit per day. Try tai chi, yoga, Qi Gong, progressive muscle relaxation, deep breathing exercises or meditation. Take care.
