Moxibustion?: I presume you were recieving moxibustion which can result in burns, usually quite small but potentally 3rd degree. A swab likely grew what is normally on your skin. You need a wound specialist to do a different type of culture and determine if other factors are preventing healing such as treating the wrong "bug" or a fungal infection. The cause of the pain might be a factor as well.

See doc: Many factors can cause delayed wound healing- smoking, poor nutrition, diabetes, venous insufficiency, poor blood supply, infection, constant pressure on the wound, vasculitis, need for debridement to name a few. Really need to see your doc, or see a wound specialist and after complete assessment there are many higher tech products that can often help.
