I went to the er last night for a possible thyroid problems. had a lot of syptoms for hyper but thyroid test normal and xray showed no swelling. is it possible my hyperthyroidism isnt showing on thyroid test?

No: If you have symptoms of hyperthyroidism, the blood tests should already showed it. At least the TSH should be low. If everything were normal, then it's something else causing your symptoms. Please see your primary care physician to start evaluating this. Good luck.
