If you can get shingles in ear what dose it feel or look like swelling an itching as maybe water is under skin when you touch the swelling thats how it feels on the outer ear?

Shingles has pain: Shingles usually is associated with severe pain. The swelling and itching sounds more like an inflammation. It would be a good idea to see a physician. It is possible that it needs to be drained or treated with a steroid cream or with an antibiotic topically or orally or otic drops into the ear. This problem needs to be evaluated so that it does not get more serious.
