This is usual: I am assuming that ida is acronym for iron deficiency anemia. For some reason, platelets become a bit high, it's obvious on smear, and this goes away when treated. I am much more concerned about why you are iron deficient. If you do not have blood loss from heavy periods, and are not on a misguided fad diet, we need to be sure your blood loss is not due to cancer.

Descriptive diagnosi: It just means that when your lab showed high levels of platelets, so a blood smear was done. The blood smear was examined under the microscope and the interpretation of what was seen was called "platelet...".
