When you wish: It's still your best source of iron and protein and more, and it tastes good. There is a huge campaign of mostly-misinformation by the vegetarians, and I am shocked and sickened by factory farming and would pay much more for meat i knew was raised humanely. No meat for a few days before your fecal occult blood test.

Occasionally: Meat has essential Amino Acids and is considered a complete protein because it contains all 9 of the essential amino acids. It also contains saturated and unsaturated fats. It has vitamin b12, niacin, zinc, selenium, &iron in fair amounts. Therefore, grass fed lean beef eaten once a week in a small portion would be considered a part of a healthy diet. The sardinians eat it and many live to 10.

Not too often.: Once weekly would be the most. Try to grill your meat to cut the fat a bit. Really, fish would be healthier. Avoid breakfast meats - really unhealthy.
