A member asked:

Irisitis --what is it, what precautions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iritis: This is a form of uveitis of the eye - a sterile internal inflammation which can be serious. You would develop a red, light sensitive eye with lowered vision. This should be seen urgently by an ophthalmologist who can administer the best treatment to prevent what can be serious complications in the eye.
