A member asked:

What's the maximum milligrams of hdl cholesterol a man should consume each day?

No such thing: We do not consume HDL or LDL cholesterol. We just consume cholesterol and our liver packages it into hdl's or ldl's in a complex process. The goal for daily cholesterol intake is less than 200 mg per day.

Not a concern: Hdl cholesterol is the measure of cholesterol carried in the HDL particles in the body. We do not consume HDL cholesterol we consume cholesterol. The american heart association recommends restricting cholesterol intake to between 200-300 mg.Day. Lower for those with heart disease.
