Temp of over 104: That is a really high fever and you should talk to your doctor right away and be seen. You can take some Acetaminophen for the fever. Fever per se is not bad but a high fever can lower the seizure threshold in a young patient and cause febrile seizures. Fever is a defense mechanism by the body to help fight off infections and so if it is not bothering you otherwise, you do not need to treat it.
