Medications: like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can cause elevated temperature. Sometimes people run a higher temperature than 98.6 and its normal. If there is a cause it will eventually present itself.

Normal temperature: Not sure what else was going on but 99.2 is a normal temperature and should not by itself warrant any work up. Please more details if have specific concerns.
