Immune response: Sometimes elderly people do not mount fevers in the face of infection. This appears to be due to changes in immunity. However, there often is temperature dysregulation. Also or normal body temperature variesthroughout the day so it depends on her temperature is taken. Measure her temperature and do not rely on her subjective report of body temperature to see if it actually falls.
