Pain, numbness...: Slipped or herniated discs in the neck can cause pain in the neck, shoulder(s), arm(s). It can cause numbness or tingling in the arms, and less often in the legs. There can be weakness in the arms. In very severe situations, there can be balance problems as well as difficulty controlling bowel and bladder function.
