Neuropathy: Your symptoms are from nerve irritation which may or may not be from your disc. Consult with your doc asap.

Nerve Compression: What you are describing is nerve compression. The numbness in the hand is usually due to a nerve root compression (c-6). The burning and pin/needles is also due to the compressed nerve. Need to see your doctor and get treatment. Usually it is a combination of medications.
