Many: There are many medicines that can help anxiety -- but finding the best one for a particular person depends on what the problem is. There are multiple kinds of anxiety problems someone might have. For some of these, ssri antidepressants might be helpful; also some benzodiazepines. The latter might be exactly wrong for some people. It's best to see a psychiatrist for an evaluation first.
