More youthful look!: Getting the brows out of the eye socket reduces eyelid hooding and makes a more alert, youthful look, but will raise the hairline a bit, unless a hairline incision is used. But this leaves a scar near the front of the lowered hairline rather than the hidden scar in the hair for the type that raises the brow and hairline. Numbness resolves, paralysis is rare, and bad scar or hair loss is uncommon
