ADHD Tx: There are several options, depending on the doctor who examined you. One option is amphetamine type stimulants such as Adderall or vyvanse, another is methyl phenidate stimulants such as Ritalin or concerta, another is non-stimulants such as strattera or Kapvay or clonidine, or antidepressants such as wellbutrin (bupropion) or remeron.

Depends: First you need a proper diagnosis, then your doctor & you will discuss the various treatment options and select a course of treatment with specific targeted outcomes. The medication of first choice is a stimulant in children, adolescents & adults. These are extremely effective and extremely safe medications. See my health files for the practice standards for treating adhd.
