Tourette's syndr TS: Unfortunately, standardized and large enough drug trials in ts patients fulfilling evidence based medicine standards are still scarce. As first-line treatment of tics Risperidone (best evidence level for atypical antipsychotics) or tiapride (largest clinical experience in europe and low rate of adverse reactions) are recommended. Pimozide remains the gold standard but with serious side effects.

Tourette: Typical & atypical antipsychotics, such as orap, haldol, risperdal, geodon (ziprasidone). Also, Clonidine & Tenex can be tried since they have fewer side-effects.
