See your dentist: If your tooth is breaking or chipping away, you should see your dentist as soon as possible. Even if you are not having any symptoms (pain/sensitivity), your tooth may crack further or may break in a way that will not be restorable. You may need a crown or filling on the tooth if it is chipping. Your dentist may also recommend a nightguard if you are grinding your teeth causing them to chip.
