Is it possible the the pulling of one tooth will break the tooth socket wall to cause another tooth to also be pulled? how thick is socket wall?

Highly unlikely: Unless you have significant bone loss surrounding bone should be strong enough. If you are concerned, ask Dentist to refer you to Oral Surgeon. Also speak to your Dentist about tooth replacement after the extraction...very important.
