Associatons affect: Early symptoms may reflect lack of connection or interest in others, mood changes, unusal patterns of speech or logic, inappropriate affect in relation to thoughts, unusual or delusional beliefs, and lack of pleasure. Paranoid schizophrenia usually has later onset but early symptoms may also include beliefs one is being watched, followed, ideas of special powrs, and thoughts of being persecuted.
